Join the Inpost/Menzies Distribution Team – Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

At Inpost/Menzies Distribution, we’re on the lookout for a dedicated Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to become an integral part of our Inpost Newstrade team. Based in Maidstone, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, providing exceptional service to both our customers and Inpost/Menzies itself. Job Title: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver
Location: Block C, Larkfield Trading Estate, Aylesford, ME20 6SW
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: Thursday - Saturday
Working Hours:

• Thursday: 07:00 - 19:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 18:30
• Saturday: 07:00 - 15:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer returns and deal with publisher requests and returns
• Perform stockroom duties, including scanning overstock, stock inventory, and stock movements
• Locate overstock and compile customer orders efficiently
• Check the quality of packed orders
• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization (including housekeeping and hygiene checks)
• Adhere to company procedures and policies
• Unload, load, sort, and scan deliveries
• Cooperate with site safety requirements
• Receive and record deliveries, pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to meet targets, dispatch with appropriate paperwork
• Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner
• Store customer goods in the racking
• Perform manual handling of products
• Accept responsibility for completed tasks
• Maintain stock integrity and perform quality checks
• Keep the warehouse and outside forecourts clean, including shelf dusting, clearing gangways, and litter removal

• YOU MUST HOLD A FULL VALID FLT LICENSE (NOT INHOUSE)
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting colleagues
• Physically fit and able to manage the demands of a fast-paced warehouse setting
