Warehouse Shift Supervisor 
Location: Shefielfd - S1 9XT 
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 
Hours: Monday - Thursday - 14.00 - 22.00 & Friday 12-mid-day - 18.00 - 36hrs per week. 
Salary: £12.41 p/h + £50 responsibility pay weekly 

Are you ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? InPost/Menzies Distribution is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Newstarde divison in our Sheffield depot. As a key leader in the warehouse, you'll oversee the daily operations of the magazine sortation process, ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and leading a dedicated team to achieve outstanding results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the charge: Support the Operations Manager in overseeing and optimizing the operations in the warehouse, within the magazine sortation department. 
  • Boost productivity: Develop and implement strategies that improve performance, reduce costs, and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Drive performance: Track, monitor, and analyze KPIs, making data-driven decisions to drive success and continuous improvement.
  • Empower your team: Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to your warehouse team, ensuring a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate across teams: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the business.
  • Maintain consistency: Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented and followed for consistent, efficient operations.
  • Safety first: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, creating a safe and secure working environment for all staff.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, within a warehouse. 
  • Full understanding of H&S  
  • MUST  fully understand work flow process, within a busy warehouse environment.     
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and other relevant tech tools that support operational efficiency.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
